Our next Disaster Site Leadership Training in 2026:
Part 1: Virtual Pre-work (6 hours, self-directed). Pre-work must be completed prior to the in-person training.
Part 2: In-Person Training: October 12-15, 2026 in Crisfield, MD.
To be “certified” as a Site Leader, volunteers must complete BOTH virtual pre-work and in-person sessions. WoC will cover expenses for the in-person portion of the training.

Disaster Rebuild Leadership Training
is for individuals or couples who are willing and able to serve, as part of the project leadership team on a domestic rebuild project. During the training, leaders will learn to support recovery efforts as Disaster Rebuild Leaders (guiding volunteer teams in repair/rebuild projects and liaising with construction partners). This training is open to anyone with a heart of service, who enjoys working on-site on home repair projects, and is willing to lead groups of volunteers as they walk alongside communities in the United States recovering from disasters.Completing the training adds you to our list of available leaders; it does not obligate you to serve.
